KAMTE is excited to announce a new 2020 event designed specifically for pre-service mathematics teachers. We will host a virtual conference this fall that will address the needs and concerns of pre-service mathematics teachers. This event will provide opportunities for pre-service teachers to collaborate and network among peers from across the state.
We are excited to announce our featured speakers for the event, Jennifer Bay-Williams and Chris Franklin.
Jennifer Bay-Williams is a professor in the Department of Elementary, Middle and Secondary Teacher Education at the University of Louisville. Jenny has written many book which aim to help mathematics educators provide meaningful mathematics learning for every student. She is a former president of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators and a dear friend to KAMTE. We are excited to have Jenny join us at the inaugural pre-service teacher virtual conference!
