The KCM Numeracy Counts Academy explores six mathematical domains with a focus on the development of fluency, as defined by the Kentucky Academic Standards.
Participants will explore the ways in which accuracy, efficiency, and flexibility apply to all domains of elementary mathematics while deepening their own content and pedagogical knowledge and strengthening a positive mathematical disposition. Participants will learn to better plan, teach, assess, and communicate about elementary mathematics so that all students leave elementary school with fluency and a strong preparation for higher level mathematics.
