Linear Measurement: Measuring with Non-Standard Units

As students learn to measure the attribute of length, they begin by working with non-standard units.
They learn the importance of lining up the unit with no gaps or overlaps, and see that the size of
the unit being iterated changes how many units are needed. In this video, we measure the same object
with different non-standard units and explore the idea that a longer unit requires fewer iterations
to measure the same length than a shorter unit.
